At an exclusive press event after the doors closed on Preview Night Wednesday at San Diego Comic-Con 2009, Sony introduced Seth Rogen to reveal for the first time anywhere, the Black Beauty car from the new Green Hornet movie, coming summer 2010.

I suggest you start watching your mouth. your response is totally uncalled for. i am teenwitch’s mother and i am the one who said that rogen’s black beauty was not acceptable. i don’t know what your problem is. my daughter said that she used some bad language and she apologizes for it. but regardless your behavior is totally out of line. i stand by my statement that rogen is likely not to be a good green hornet. i am a member of three green hornet boards and NONE of us like rogen or his car.

If you know of the Green Hornet (Britt Reed), then you must know that he’s a driven and intense man like Batman (Bruce Wayne), who also has a desire to fight crime in his own way, similar to his Uncle (The Lone Ranger).
Reed fights against the evil-doers of his day, like his Uncle and Tonto did years before him.
Knowing this, do you HONESTLY believe in your right mind that Rogen, who can even remotely pull this off like this?
Rogen is a fat doofus gutterball actor who cannot do this. Period.

It makes no difference what Rogen says one way or the other about his being The Green Hornet, because this movie will bomb at the box office.
He’s NOT RIGHT FOR THIS ROLE!
There are a dozen actors out there that are FAR BETTER than he is, and that’s no exaggeration. He’s a mediocre actor who cannot play the role as it should be played.
He simply doesn’t have the acting skills or persona to pull this off. This is exactly like casting Joan Rivers to play Wonder Woman.
This is a HUGE mistake!

Heath was a good actor, Bale was not good in that film. Heath made that film better and that was the only reason why I watched it. This film is going to suck because the Green hornet is going to be made into a killer when HE IS NOT! The green hornet never killed anyone you dumb shit. GOD DAMN! Rogen is going to turn this once-great movie and franchise idea into a cesspool of sophomoric sight gags and gutterball comedy- just like he does with his other movies he has done.
He is TOTALLY FLAT-OUT wrong for this role, and it should be given to someone else who KNOWS what this character should be. It is an outrage to us Green Hornet fans that Rogen is going to destroy and ruin this movie by him being named as the Green Hornet.

The truth is, movie studio executives are really nothing more than glorified bean-counter accountants who know NOTHING of the movie business, and therefore know NOTHING about whom to hire to produce these kinds of movies. Does anyone know who manufactured the Black Beauty model for Comic Con??? Someone told me it was http://www.RetailDisplaysAndProps.com since their group designs and fabricates themed 3-D props, scale replicas and other visual merchandising displays and stuff, but I don’t see any pics of it on their . I can’t wait for this movie!!!!!
