Ditto what the909er said, look at a new chelating or deep cleansing shampoo, rinse with bottled water, and invest in a decent treatment to really close down the cuticle and help stop foreign buildup in your hair. Another great tried and true secret is to get a couple of disprin or aspirin tablets (basically sallicyclic acid based disolvable pain killers) disolve them in somme tepid water and work it through your hair, Leave on for five minutes then shampoo and condition as per usual. This will help to take out chemical or chlorine type buildups.

Hope that you get your hair back into shape.
References :
If your hair were green from chlorine deposits, you should be able to smell it. I can smell chlorine in hair that is still blonde. Maybe it's the Jonathan Beauty Water filter. That sounds kinda hokey. If you can smell chlorine, buy a demineralizing or deep cleansing shampoo. That should remove the build up. And try rinsing with bottled water.

And for the record, leaving bleach on your hair too long won't turn it green. It'll turn white then break off. Not ever green.
References :
hm that's odd.. maybe you might have to use a certain shampoo/conditioner whilst you shower to stop that from happening.

it might be just something in the water..
