Clooney had already …
Clooney had already been named as the Green Hornet for a movie (paired with Jason Scott Lee as Kato) back in the mid-90s. He dropped that to do Batman. I was crushed; I didn’t think he’d have been a bad Hornet. The current Buzz is that it’s going to be Seth Rogen (!?!) and Stephen Chow as the Green Hornet and Kato. Chew on that casting for a while.

The Green Hornet t.v. show was winning it’s time slot, the issue was the producer wanted to do an hour show. When the producer and the network couldn’t agree the show was not renewed for another season.
