- Unless you are a young teenager it is best to avoid using glitter on your face too much. If you are trying to apply makeup to make you look older then you should not use glitter as this will have the opposite effect; glitter can come across as childish. Of course if you want to emphasise the point that you are still young then glitter will help you do this.

- Because you are young, you probably have beautiful supple skin so there is no point in wearing a ton of makeup and hiding this. You should always remember that the main reason for wearing makeup is to highlight your best assets; you should not be trying to hide them. When it comes to makeup, less is always more.

- Before you start trying to copy the look of some of your favourite celebrities, you need to think carefully; it is understandable that you might want the same look as them but you do need to take care. If your features are completely different from the celebrity then the makeup may not look good on you; the look has been applied by an expert especially for the features of that particular celebrity. Another thing to bear in mind is that the look donned by the celebrity might only look good for a photo shoot and not for every day life. And when it comes to getting your look just like a famous celebrity, it could cost you quite a bit of money.

The above makeup tips are just a few that will help young women when it comes to applying their makeup.

When the time arrives for a woman to put some makeup on, the very first thing that goes on is the foundation. Naturally, this is not always the case, and a lot of females would count on makeup tips to try new things. Just as soon as everything has been put on to the face, to finish off?
